Bessingby Park Rangers was founded back in the summer of 1973. Bessingby began as an offshoot from a very successful Cub Scout team, 5th Ruislip Spitfires.

In the seventies, Scouting was very popular and there were many Cub and Scout groups playing in their football leagues.

The club was formed by a group of interested parents who had a passion for football and wanted their sons to succeed and enjoy the game without the pressure that a big football club would bring.
